Ecco qui il tutorial per giocare col SOLE, i COLORI e la STOFFA.
Molte di voi conosceranno già questa tecnica per dipingere le stoffe, io non la conoscevo e mi ha affascinato.
Materiale primario il SOLE e poi stoffa che può essere di cotone oppure di seta, i colori per seta o per cotone, acqua, pennello, foglie e fiori, un grembiule per non sporcarsi ed una base rigida impermeabile.

Here you are the tutorial to play with SUN, COLOURS and FABRICS.
Many of you maybe already know this technique used to paint fabrics. I didn't know it and I was bewitched.
Principal material is the SUN, then the fabric -cotton or silk-, the colours for silk or cotton, water, brush, leaves and flowers, an apron so you won't get dirty and an hard waterproof pedestal.
bagnare, con un pennello, la stoffa con semplice acqua.......wet the fabric with water using the brush...................
deve essere completamente bagnata.......it has to be completly wet.........
poi in un piattino.....
then in a small dish.........
versare un po' di colore.....put some colour..........
oppure più colori mescolandoli bene fino ad ottenere la tonalità preferita......or mix more till you have the colour you like........
e quindi colorare il tessuto come si preferisce.....then colour the fabric as you like.......
prendere delle foglie oppure dei fiori raccolti il giorno prima e pressati in una rivista, non devono essere molto secchi.....take the leaves or the flowers you picked the day before you have pressed in a newspaper. They should not be too dry........
e disporli sulla stoffa....and lay them down on the fabric.........
come preferite........in the way you prefer.......
aggiungete, se volete,un po' di sale grosso oppure un po' di riso..............add, if you like, some cookin' salt or rice.............
e portate il tutto al sole........and put everything under the sun.......
quando sarà asciutto, ma non secco, togliete le foglie e guardate il risultato.......when it will be dry, but not too much, take away the leaves and look at the result......
se le foglie vi sembrano sollevate, non dovete ripassarle con l'acqua (come ho fatto io)......if it seems to you that the leaves don't touch the fabric, you should not go over them with more water (as I did)........
altrimenti il disegno viene un po' mosso..........otherwise the drawning will seem a bit blurred......
quindi con una mascherina, che vi sarete preparate con un cartoncino, scegliete i pezzi da ritagliare per creare il vostro patchwork......

naturalmente dovrete fissare i colori col ferro da stiro senza vapore.........
