FACEVA FREDDO --- IT WAS VERY COLD

Ieri 16/01/ 2010 in Val Masino la temperatura alle 15.00 era - 8°. Avevo molto freddo.

Yesterday 01/16/2010 in Val Masino the temperature at 3pm was -8°. I was very cold.

dopo una giornata sui tacchi....

oppure sono più comode queste "scarpets" che mi hanno regalato Thelma e Louise?

CAMMINANDO LUNGO IL FIUME --- WALKING BESIDE THE RIVER

Ieri 14 giugno era una domenica molto calda e perciò abbiamo deciso di andare a fare il percorso del museo di Leonardo lungo il fiume Adda.
Il traghetto senza motore attaccato ad una carrucola che porta le persone e le auto da una parte all'altra del fiume spinto solo dalla corrente è la prima bellezza che ti accoglie all'arrivo nel piccolo molo di Imbersago.

Yesterday, June 14th, it was a very hot summer Sunday, so we decided to go to make the Leonardo's Museum trail beside the Adda river.

The ferry has no engine and it is hanged to a pulley. It brings people and cars from one side to the other of the river and it is driven only by the flow. This is the first beauty that welcomes us as we arrive in Imbersago.

avendo trovato un soffione ho subito messo in pratica il consiglio di Grazia che dice: "SE SOFFI ED ESPRIMI UN DESIDERIO, SI AVVERERA" ho soffiato e non mi resta che aspettare.

as I found a Soffione (I don't know how to call it in English, but you can see the flower in the picture below) I immediatly followed the advice of Grazia: "IF YOU BLOW AND MAKE A WISH, IT WILL COME TRUE." So I did and now I only have to wait.

dopo pochi metri vediamo una canoa ed un signore che mette in salvo una gallina che, non si capisce come mai, era finita tutta impaurita su una pianta in mezzo all'acqua.......

after few meters we saw a canoe and a man rescuing a chicken who was standing frighten on a plant in the middle of the river (don't know how she could get there!)...........

il canoista se ne va......

and then the canoeist went away...........

e la gallina se ne va.......

and the chicken went away..........

ed io e mio marito ci incamminiamo lungo il fiume verso il ponte del Bungee jumping

and my husband and I started walking beside the river to the bridge of Bungee jumping

incontriamo una libellula nera.......

we met a black dragon-fly..........

poi un tuffetto con tre piccolini........

and a little grebe with three children...........

che dopo poco scendono in acqua per un giretto............

that after a while went swimming around.............

poi tanti magnifici cigni

then, a lot of wonderful swans

e sulla strada del ritorno vicino ad una casa una chioccia coi pulcini.

and on the way back, close to a house, an hen with the children.

e per finire un' ochetta che si faceva bella.

and in the end a little goose making her maquillage.

spero che la mia passeggiata lungo il fiume sia piaciuta anche a voi.
