SHIBORI

Durante l'ultimo Hobby Show a Milano, Agostina mi ha invitato presso il suo stand per insegnarmi lo SHIBORI.

At last Hobby Show in Milan, Agostina invited me in her stand and she tought me SHIBORI.

I disegni shibori sono parecchi ed io ho scelto questo, ho imbastito con punti piccoli e regolari alcuni quadrati di diverse misure...........

There are so many shibori shapes and I've chosen this one. I've basted with small and regular stitches some squares of different sizes..............

che fatica infilare l'ago...........

it was so hard to thread the needle.............. 

poi con l'aiuto di Agostina...........

then thanks to Agostina.......

ho iniziato a chiudere i quadrati tirando il filo.......

I started closing the squares by pulling the thread.......

per formare dei piccoli coni........

creating little cones.........

che poi legavo col filo tirato.........

that I tied then up with the thread.......

legandoli stretti stretti.........

fastening them really tight.........

era la prima volta e perciò ho usato il massimo impegno............

it was the first time for me and so I applied myself so much........

sia nel lavoro sia nell'ascoltare Agostina che sa tantissime cose e le spiega mentre lavora.........

in listening to Agostina , who knows so many things and explains them while she's working......

i coni o pinetti sono pronti.........

the cones or the little pines are ready............

poi nella tintura per mezz'ora..........

then dye them for half an hour.........

si aprono adagio adagio.............

open them very slowly..............

e voilà il lavoro finito.

and voilà, that's the end.

and after half an hour, she opened it..........



e questo è il risultato.
Mi è piaciuto e mi sono divertita e soprattutto ho imparato tanti segreti da Agostina mentre lavoravamo.
and this is the result.
I really liked it and I have fun. Above all I've learned some secrets Agostina told me while we were working.
