Subito dopo Natale, passato con i parenti, rispettando le tradizioni familiari, mangiando un po' di melograno che è di buon auspicio e accendendo le lucine al momento del panettone.

e aggiungendo, quest'anno, un po' di tradizione inglese, portata da mia figlia con l'apertura dei Crackers (quei pacchettini che vedete appoggiati sui piatti che si devono aprire, tenendosi per mano, prima del pranzo di Natale e che contengono una sorpresa e una corona)

Dopo tutto questo io e mio marito siamo andati per qualche giorno in montagna dove la neve era tantissima,

Io ho scelto questo ROSA che sarà anche la base di un quilt che sto facendo con le 120 mani delle quilters piccole e grandi che hanno partecipato al Quilting Day di Ottobre 2010.

Oltre al colore scelgo anche una PAROLA , seguendo il consiglio di Marlis e di Laura.

La mia parola da ricordare per il 2011 è ENTUSIASMO.

I picked this PINK. It will also be the base of a quilt that I'm doing with 120 hands of the quilters young and less young who participated at the Quilting Day of October 2010.
