Sabato scorso sono arrivata per caso nella piccola piazza di un piccolissimo paese alle porte di Milano.

C'era una buca per le lettere a Babbo Natale che mi è piaciuta molto e mi ha trasmesso una grande tranquillità.

Mi sono seduta un po' a guardare l'albero che aveva le lucine fisse, c'era una signora con due bambini che portavano la letterina e che aiutati dalla mamma cantavano "Fra Martino Campanaro".

Poi ho fotografato la piazzetta per poterla condividere con voi affinchè possiate imbucare virtualmente un vostro desiderio come ho fatto io in quel momento.

E....sia che lo esprimiate per voi o per qualcuno a voi molto caro vi auguro che si realizzi.

Last Saturday I accidentally arrived in a small public square of a really tiny town close to Milan.

There was a letter box for Santa Claus that I like to much and transmitted me so much tranquillity.

I sat there for a while to look at the Christmas tree's immobile lights, there was a woman with two children taking their letters for Santa and singing "Fra Martino Campanaro".

Then I took a picture of the square to share it with you, so that you can virtually send your desires to Santa, as I did while I was there.

And, whether it is for you or for someone you love, I wish to you it comes true.

UN MOMENTO MAGICO --- A MAGIC MOMENT

Gli ingredienti per l'incontro di sabato 11 dicembre erano semplici e conosciuti,

UNA SERRA DI AGRUMI che faceva da sfondo al nostro BOSCO PER SOGNARE

I PENSIERI E LE EMOZIONI CUCITE DIETRO AGLI ALBERI

UN GRUPPO DI QUILTERS che avevano lavorato alla costruzione del bosco

UNA SERIE DI FOTO del quilting day di ottobre

UNA CHIACCHIERATA CON LA DOTT. ORNELLA CONVERTINO

UNA DIMOSTRAZIONE DI DANIELA CASSANI

UN FUOCO PER LE CALDARROSTE

il tutto accompagnato da una leggera musica e da un sottile ma intenso profumo di agrumi.
Tutto questo insieme si è poi trasformato in un APPUNTAMENTO MAGICO.

THE TREES A GROUP OF QUILTERS, who had been working to the realisation of the wood
A SERIES OF PICTURES from the Quiting Day of October
A CHAT WITH DOCTOR ORNELLA CONVERTINO
A DEMONSTRATION BY DANIELA CASSANI
A FIRE FOR ROAST CHESTNUTS

everything in the company of a light music and the thin but intense perfume of citrus fruits. This turned into a MAGIC APPOINTMENT.

le frasi hanno aiutato a ripensare

the phrases helped us to look back

le foto hanno risvegliato i ricordi

the pictures reawaked our memories

le quilters hanno gioito ammirando il loro lavoro
the quilters were happy looking at their work

la chiacchierata con Ornella ha focalizzato la nostra attenzione su noi stesse e sulla nostra capacità di poter dire
"IO VOGLIO"
the chat with Ornella focused our attention on ourselves and our capacity to say
"I WANT"



la dimostrazione di Daniela con la gelatina che invece di servire per preparare dei piatti prelibati, è servita per creare stampe su stoffa secondo il metodo del Monoprint con gelatina di Linda Colsh
the demonstration by Daniela using jelly, in this case not for tasty dishes,
has been useful to print on fabric, according to the method called Monoprint by
Linda Colsh




e poi il fuoco curato dai nostri mariti che ci hanno cotto e sbucciato le caldarroste e che abbiamo gustato tutti insieme
and then the fire by our husbands, who cooked and peeled for us roast chestnuts, which we enjoyed all together



Tutto attorno c'era la vita della serra con i clienti che arrivavano per acquistare l'albero di Natale ed entravano silenziosamente ad ammirare la nostra mostra,c'era il trambusto di un agnellino che nel pomeriggio è nato lì nella stalla degli animali e che essendo stato rifiutato dalla sua mamma, è stato poi adottato dalla mamma di un altro agnellino nato nelle prime ore della domenica mattina.
E poi io e mio marito che......mentre ce ne andavamo, dopo aver sistemato, abbiamo guardato il fuoco che si spegneva lentamente.
Questa la cronaca scritta del nostro sabato pomeriggio e spero di essere riuscita a farvi capire perchè ho scritto che è stato un APPUNTAMENTO MAGICO.


All around us there was the life of the glasshouse with the customers buying the Christmas tree and coming silently to admire our exhibition,
there was the fuss of a little lamb, born that afternoon in the animal stable, refused by his mom and then adopted by the mom of another lamb, born early on Sunday morning.
And then my husband and I, after tiding up, went away looking at the fire which was slowly going out.
This is the chronicle of our Saturday afternoon and I hope I've been able to make you understand why it's been a MAGIC APPOINTMENT.
