Dopo il Quilting Day della Val d'Aosta, domenica 30 giugno ho partecipato al Quilting Day del Piemonte.
Tornata a casa, alla sera in televisione, dopo il Gran Premio di Formula Uno, ho sentito Sigfrid Stor, un pilota che ha smesso di correre, che ha dato un consiglio ai giovani dicendo "la vita non possiamo allungarla sarà lunga come sarà, ma sta a noi di saperla allargare arricchendola".
Mi è piaciuto tanto questo consiglio e anche se non sono più tanto giovane mentre lo ascoltavo ho pensato che nelle due domeniche appena trascorse e in tante altre occasioni, io ho un po' allargato la mia vita perchè tutte le persone che ho incontrato mi hanno regalato qualcosa, un abbraccio, un sorriso, un bacio, una risata, un consiglio, un'emozione e tanto altro.

Sono cinque "miss" tra le tante "miss di Quilt Italia e ve le presento una ad una partendo da sinistra.

After Val d'Aosta Quilting Day, I went to Piemonte Quilting Day on Sunday 30th June.
Back home in the evening, after watching Formula 1 Grand Prix, I heard Sigfrid Stor - a driver who stopped a few years ago - who gave some pieces of advice to young people: "we can not make our lives longer, they will be as long as they are supposed to be. but we can make them wider, enriching them."
I really liked this piece of advice and even if I'm not so young any more, while I was listening to it I thought that in the past two Sundays and during other occasions I made my life wider. All the people I met gave me something as a gift, a hug, a smile, a kiss, a laugh, a piece of advice, an emotion and much more.
