Secondo voi, dopo aver visto queste due ballerine nascoste e tutte impolverate in uno scaffale le potevo lasciare e non acquistare?
Non ho resistito ed ora loro, sono qui a casa mia a ricordarmi che se avessi fatto la ballerina, sarei comunque stata così.

e potevo lasciare che queste stoffe, tinte da Daniela, non potessero entrare a far parte del materiale per il Quilting Day di Ottobre.
Non ho potuto e le stoffe ora sono a casa mia in attesa di essere tagliuzzate.

Le frasi che avete letto sono le risposte e i ringraziamenti che alcune quilters hanno scritto, sulla lista mail di Quilt Italia, dopo la loro partecipazione ad un quilting day.

Le ho salvate e ve le giro ponendovi una domanda........

In questi mesi girando tra i blog, sia in Italia che all'estero, si vedono foto di incontri tra quilters sempre molto numerosi. Come mai tutto questo successo? Voi cosa ne pensate?

Io penso che ci sia un forte desiderio di condividere momenti semplici ma emozionanti, di stare familiarmente insieme con altre persone e il patchwork è il nostro mezzo per raggiungere questo scopo. e perciò VIVA I QUILTING DAY.

Vi auguro un buon fine settimana con questo fiore che una bimba che abita nel mio condominio ci ha voluto regalare e che ha messo in giardino vicino all'entrata.

In these months traveling around blogs, both in Italy and all over the world, I saw photos of quilting bees, always with many quilters. Why all this success? What do you think about?

I think that there is a big desire to share easy but emotional moments, to be together like in a family with different people and patchwork is our way to do that. And so "Hurray to the quilting bee".

CARTOLINE DALLE VACANZE --- HOLYDAY CARDS

Le mie vacanze sono finite con un po' di anticipo e poi capirete perchè

My holydays finished few days earlier and then you will understand why

il 24 Maggio abbiamo festeggiato 35 anni di matrimonio

on the 24th of May we celebrated our 35 years of marriage

e poi sono tornata a casa col mio menisco incrinato e con tanto male.

and then I came back home with my meniscus craked and with much pain.
