domani andrò al mare e spero di usare solo l' ombrellone sulla spiaggia.

MOSTRA PATCHWORK

Le amiche del CIRCOLO DEL TRAPUNTO di Rivoli, ci invitano al Forte di Fenestrelle

per ammirare i loro quilts che saranno esposti dove ora sono in mostra questi bellissimi costumi antichi.

QUILTS A LEGNANO --- QUILTS IN LEGNANO

Ieri a Legnano, un cittadina alle porte di Milano, c'era l'apertura dei Manieri delle Contrade che parteciperanno al "Palio di Legnano".

Yesterday we went to the opening of the Districts' Manors taking part in the horse-race of Legnano, which is a small town close to Milan.

Lele e Simone, che erano stati invitati con il loro patchwork, hanno girato l'invito a Quilt Italia e i nostri quilts si sono ritrovati tra spade, mantelli, stemmi, bandiere e tanti visitatori.

Lele and Simone, who had been invited with their patchworks, forwarded the invitation to Quilt Italia and our quilters found themselves among swords, cloaks, coats of arms, flags and many visitors.

I nuovi Cavalieri della tavola rotonda, armati di aghi, fili e pezze, hanno fatto proseliti per l'applique, il baltimora, le tinture, il pojagi e il ricamo.

Our Knights of the Round Table armed with needles, threads and patchs found a lot of followers with applique, baltimora, dyes, pojagi and embroider.

Tutto attorno un clima di grande festa tra le bancarelle, i bambini e le bellezze della cittadina.

All around there was a great party mood among stands, children and the masterpieces of the town.

Voglio ringraziare tutti coloro ai quali sono mancata nelle ultime settimane, ma non avevo più fotografie da pubblicare, perché mi era stato rubato il pc. Ora ne ho di nuove e così... eccomi qui!
