Questa mattina ho cercato sul vocabolario il significato della parola Mosaico.
Mosaico =" opera artistica (letteraria, musicale, ecc.) che risulta da un insieme di elementi eterogenei"e allora ho capito che quello che mi sono costruita ieri è stato un vero mosaico, fatto di arte, patchwork, emozioni, chiacchiere, kilometri e naturalmente foto.
Adesso vi spiego meglio........
Ieri mattina io e mio marito ci siamo messi in auto per raggiungere Firenze, era l'ultimo giorno per poter ammirare "MOSAICI DI STOFFA" mostra allestita con quilts provenienti da tutta l'Italia che avevano il prezioso compito di far da cornice al primo lavoro eseguito dalle ragazze madre ospiti dell'Istituto degli Innocenti.
Durante il percorso a piedi ci hanno fatto compagnia i magnifici capolavori d'arte della città e arrivati a destinazione ci ha accolto una esposizione di quilts che il particolare allestimento e la magnifica sede che li ospitava, li ha resi ancora più belli.
Una serie di diapositive riproducenti momenti di lavoro, accompagnati da pensieri e frasi raccolti durante un anno di patchwork con le ragazze seguite da Lucia rendeva l'ambiente particolarmente intimo ed emozionante.
Naturalmente ho incontrato alcune amiche, ho chiacchierato, ho potuto vedere lo stupore di alcuni ragazzi che in gita con la scuola hanno visitato la mostra e scattato tante foto.
Mentre tornavamo verso l'auto i nostri occhi hanno continuato ad osservare ........

This morning I’ve been looking for the word Mosaic in the dictionary.
Mosaic = A picture or decorative design made by setting small colored pieces, as of stone or tile, into a surface.
And so I understood that what I’ve built yesterday was a mosaic, made of art, patchwork, feelings, chatting, kilometres and pictures, of course.
Let me explain better…….
Yesterday, in the moring, my husband and I drove to Florence. It was the last day to see “Fabric mosaics”, the exhibitions showing quilts from all over Italy, which were the frame of the first work made by RAGAZZE MADRE living at Istituto degli Innocenti (Innocents’ Institute).
While we were walking to the show, we have seen the wonderful masterpieces of the city of Florence.
The exhibition was simply amazing and the location made the quilts shine more and more.
They were wonderful. There were slides showing the moments of work, thoughts and words collected during a year of patchwork with the girls, helped by Lucia.
The location seemed so private and touching. I’ve met, of course, some friends, we have been chatting, and I’ve see the look of amazement in the eyes of some guys, who were there on a school trip, they took so many pictures.
While we were walking back to our car, we couldn’t stop looking at the “flach” of beauty coming from the city.

La foto che vedete sotto è un patchwork realizzato dai ragazzi che hanno aiutato ad allestire e che subito si sono trasformati in quiltermen usando stoffe, spille e chiodi.
The picture you see below is a patchwork realized by the guys who helped mounting the exhibition and who turned into perfect quiltermen using fabrics, pins and nails. 
Poi un altro pezzettino di mosaico nella mia giornata ma..............di questo vi metto solo un puzzle, le vere foto tra qualche giorno.
