DAVID

Hi everybody, I want to thank you for the comments you left and I'm sorry but I'll upload the pictures in a few days.

Today I want to dedicate this heart by Ileana and this post to DAVID.
DAVID, nickname DAVO, is a boy I've virtually met few months ago. Thanks to CLARE, who spoke about him in the Leukemia website - you can find the link here on the left of my blog- I've started leaving some comments.
He spoke about himself, about his illness, about his thoughts, about his friends, about music, about his cat, Connie, and in his posts he was at the same time weak, strong and sometimes ironic.
I think every single person I meet in my life is something that makes me richer but I think that DAVO has been "a special gift".
He was able to wake up the sensitivity towards other people that - at the moment - was sleeping inside of me.
DAVO is not here any more, ha died the 28th of May but he will always be in my heart and in my mind.
I want to thank for her commitment CLARE.
I want to thank DAVO for becoming part of my life.
Ciao, a hug.

He wished his blog go on and so if you want and can go here :

A very beautiful post. So many things that you received from him, his sensitivity, his strength, you can pass on to others.

So incredibly sad, because of his youth. And yet, we are deeply interconnected and from one another gain strength we never knew we possessed or were capable of passing on. We do that now, for him. Thanks for sharing this story.

A most touching story and a wonderful tribute to how Davo touched your heart. He has left his handprint on your heart now, for forever, Teodo. There is no greater gift that one can leave for another. You hold this now within you. It was a great opening, a very great gift. Thank you so very much for sharing Davo with all of us.
