During Christmas holidays my son Federico has travelled through Spagna and in Siviglia he saw this fabric in a shopwindow and he bought a piece for me.
I think I'm not going to use it and I'll keep it with another piece of fabric he brought me home from Philippine..starting in this way my COLLECTION OF TRAVEL-FABRICS..of course given me by my children. Do you like my idea?

A very nice idea, indeed ! You could put them in a special big album, with some notes about them, and tell everyone (including us, of course !) that you collect pieces of fabrics from all over the world. This is also a trace of our times... Imagine someone finds your album in 100 years from now ! WOW ! I'd love to find such an album, dating the 1800's, or 1900's !

SMILES !

I love your idea, I have a similar box of fabrics; purchases from trips to exotic places. Someday I will know exactly what to do with them! Until then, I am happy to collect them...

I think it is a lovely idea and what a thoughtful son you have!

I agree with Nadine, it would be a wonderful item to keep for the future.

Thank you for posting in English as well as Italian.

It would be difficult for me not to use wonderful fabric in my possession. I like the idea of having a book containing swatches with the story of the fabrics origin and how it came to you ... and then a photo of how what wonderful creation it became.

I like the idea of a collection of travel fabrics very much. It is an excellent idea and a good way to remember where your family has travelled.
